A last-minute assignment due to the skipper dropping out. Confirmed on Wednesday, and already in Pointe-à-Pitre by Friday. The reward: picture-perfect Caribbean beaches straight out of a picture book.

Sailing off the coast of Africa in the middle of the Atlantic. Long stretches of water, a remote sailing area and plenty of new sights. On the move in a place that calls itself the ‘birthplace of the most destructive hurricanes’

As the first trip was both exhausting and exciting – since I had to research where we were going to spend the night every single day – we simply have to do it all again. And so it happened at the end of 2025.
